Andromeda

Born in ’92 in Brussels, Belgium, Robin B has been mainly influenced by 70’s artists such as David Gilmour, Hendrix, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Steven Wilson, Tool etc. Growing up, Robin discovered his love for progressive music such as bands like Yes, Porcupine Tree, Frank Zappa and more. The day he realized that his voice could be of use, he started creating and recording his own songs at home with the Garageband. Gradually, he started adding basses to his songs, drums, and other instruments. Anyway, all the songs recorded have been composed, sung and realized by Robin B with the aid of Arts4. His parents and friends have been supporting him all along financially and morally.
Even though the songs on Andromeda were composed during his high school years, still it has been released almost two years later, around age 21. The lyrics mainly explores the steps he had to go through to understand things like love, education, authority and then finally freedom. The title ‘Andromeda’ is the name of another galaxy, mainly pointing out the way that his music made him feel. Robin has always opted for a peaceful environment, and has always admired movements like the Flower Power movement in the 70s. Still composing today, he adds new influences from all around the world and a lot of new kinds of music to his creations.
